Lemonade Cleansing Diet: Lose Body Fat

Lemonade Cleansing Diet: Lose Body Fat

Many names are called, and each is derived from one of the ingredients used to make it. Have you tried the lemonade cleansing diet, also known as the maple syrup diet or the master cleanse? It can be really effective if you stick with it!

For those of you who may need to become more familiar with the cleanse diet, it consists of drinking a lemonade mixture, water, tea, and broth (if you want) for ten days straight. For this period, you are to refrain from consuming any solid foods. The cleansing mixture will help you lose excess body fat while flushing toxins out of your system. Thousands swear by this method; the recipe is easy to make from home.

That’s the good news; the bad news is that it’s not nearly as easy as it may sound to go on a strictly liquid diet for ten days. It’s pretty standard for people not to be able to make it through their first time. If you want to increase the odds of success drastically, you can do a few things.

For one thing, you can prepare your mind for the task. Before starting your cleanse, take a week (or at least a few days) to understand the concept. Make sure you’re clear about what you hope to accomplish, be realistic, and your reasons for wanting that goal. It’s always best to do these things for yourself and not for anyone else.

Doing something as tricky as a cleanse is a mistake because your husband or wife said you should lose some weight. Do it yourself, and you’ll significantly increase your chances of success.

Now that you’ve got your head in the right place, it’s time to prepare your body for the cleanse. To do this, reduce your calories for several days before starting. Adhering to a strictly liquid diet is a difficult task. To do so, ‘cold turkey’ is even more challenging. It’s best to wean your body off the high-calorie, filling foods slowly. “Before starting the cleanse, it is recommended to eliminate or reduce your carbohydrate intake for a few days.” Getting your body used to having fewer calories can help your chances of success.

Next, get the ingredients for the cleanse ready. Remember to use organic, non-toxic ingredients to flush toxins from your system without adding more. You’ll need several whole lemons, a big bottle of maple syrup, cayenne pepper, and water. It usually works best to mix up a pitcher of the lemonade mixture daily so you can pour yourself a glass when you want one.

The pitcher-size recipe is this:

Twelve tablespoons of lemon juice and maple syrup, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, and 60 ounces of water. Remember this:

There’s nothing more to the lemonade-cleansing diet. Do the proper preparation, and your chances of success will increase.
